Building upon a random idea from a recent episode, this installment of The Grey NATO features Jason and James casting for the yet-announced upcoming James Bond film. Each of the TGN boys has their own Bond film to design, from actors to music, cars, and gadgets; it’s a fun thought exercise to help bridge the gap to the next entry into the Bond franchise.
From the get-go, Jason has found a new pocket watch and James is enjoying a cheap strap from Amazon. Stay in the mix for a Final Notes that will have you packing a new camera bag and checking out some vintage rally action on YouTube.

“He who fears death will never do anything worthy of a man who is alive.” – Seneca.
I hoped back then that Tom Hardy would get the role. Too late for that now. Fun choice and pure opposite to Tom would be Eddie Redmayne. Also we need a good old Eastern European villain and the Cold War again. Feđa Štukan (Feda Stukan) from Bosnia would be great for the roll. Otherwise Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys. Watch: happy with Omega / CWC (for the Cold War era). Maybe Bremont or Vertex for the modern Bond.
M/Bond villain: Brian Cox
M: Gary Oldman
M: Jared Harris
Moneypenny: Emily Blunt? Going back to a slightly mature version.
Q: younger version, Ansel Elgort or older version, Jude Law
Bond song: Artist should do it is ‘The Last Shadow Puppets’. Their first record definitely sounds like a period piece songcraft and production. Strings, check! Brass, check! Couldn’t be more British too.
Question for James’ choice for Bond watch? Would it be better if it’s the 165.024 because the 166.024 reference has a date.
