This episode features a delightful chat with Dr. Rebecca Struthers, the award-winning British watchmaker, one half of Struthers Watchmakers, and the author of the book “Hands of Time: A Watchmaker’s History”. Dr. Struthers is the only U.K based watchmaker to hold a PhD in horology and the book looks into the history of timekeeping and the engineering that made it possible. Jason and James spoke to Dr. Struthers about her start in watches, what makes for a great watch movement, what it was like to design a movement from scratch, and much more.
