Hi James, I am a big enjoyer of the TGN podcast and appreciated you singing the praises of Band Of Brothers at the end of the pod. I am a huge fan of BoB as well and actually going through a rewatch for the first time in several years. I also came across this podcast as well to pair with the rewatch. It is just outstanding and I highly recommend this too.... https://rephonic.com/podcasts/band-of-brothers-podcast-3
A Hamilton is what got me into watches. My dad wore what I think was a steel or gold plated Hamilton that was almost surely made in Lancaster, PA, not far from where I grew up. I recall having it after he died but I have no idea where it is, which is a drag. I bough my son a beautiful Hamilton Khaki field 38 with date and 24 hour sub numbering and exhibition back when he graduated from high school. He loves it and it keeps great time, better that my vastly more costly IWCs. He's now all into watches. I got a Khaki field mechanical for my son-in-law and he loves it. I don't have one but it's on my list. Great watches.
