This week’s episode dives into the idea of a perfect three-watch trio with a budget of $10,000. Yes, we’ve done this before but it hasn’t been since episode 33, so we thought it would be a good idea to update our picks for 2022 (especially now that our original Rolex picks are out of the question). As you can imagine, it’s a smorgasbord of divers, a murder of GMTs, and a few oddball gold watches. Ten grand is a big pile of money, so it’s definitely fun to dream about how the TGN boys might reset our collections.
Stay in the mix for a TV-heavy edition of Final Notes as Jason has burned through Slow Horses and James is making his way through the slow burn of Tokyo Vice.

The Grey NATO – 192 – The Perfect Three-Watch Collection (2022 Edition)
Just catching up with this. Listening to the watch(es) James foreshadows at 29:30 made me smile as I think it is out as of now and I think definitely what Jason has been specifying for travel-fun-water GMT
Great episode as always! Have always been hoping for a revist of this topic. The original episode is one of my all-time favorites when I was first getting into watches and I learned so much from it. From my current collection and excluding rolex it would be:
Grand Seiko SBGW253 or Cartier Santos Medium
Tudor Black Bay 36 Black Dial
Seiko SPB153
