Definition
JDM means 'Japanese domestic market,' denoting watches not advertised outside of Japan. Citizen's Promaster line, and until recently Grand Seiko, were among them. Often have features missing from international versions and are therefore sought after. For example, the JDM version of the Citizen Nighthawk had a titanium case with surface hardening, and a sapphire crystal - the US version was 316L and mineral crystal.
