The ETA 6497 and 6498 are handwinding pocketwatch movements from a company called Unitas, now owned by ETA. (See the ETA page for more details and links).
- The 6497 has subseconds opposite the stem
- The 6498 has them 90 degrees offset from the crown, for example see my Stowa
Available in the usual ETA grades, it has been modified by many brands with all sorts of complications, modules and features. For example,
